Transportation Solutions

Multi-modal Advocacy

Adept Transportation Solutions believes in multiple modes of transportation for the most efficient use of the existing infrastructure. Bicycle usage continues to rise accross the country and is a significant component of the traffic stream locally.

Transit stop locations, routing, and usage are also significant components of the traffic stream, as are commercial vehicles, heavy trucks, emergency vehicles, and pedestrians. Our analysis is comprehensive and includes all the neccesary components to the traffic stream.

Our staff happens to be comprised of avid cyclists and we have participated in events to raise awareness of not only bicycling, but also architectural tours of our capital city, Victoria in Beautiful British Columbia.

Adept Transportation Solutions had the distinct pleasure of sponsoring a portion of the Young Associates annual Architectural Bike Tour, under the auspices of the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria. The pictures to the right were taken over the past two years of the tour and show some of the interesting buildings encountered on the route.

We led one of the groups of cyclists through Victoria's beautiful downtown streets, meandering the Galloping Goose Multi-purpose Trail and the Dallas Road shoreline into Oak Bay and back to the art gallery for snacks and socializing.

It was great fun had by all. Click the link below for more information on their yearly events.
